About Us
Our veterinary practice is primarily ambulatory, serving clients in the greater Baltimore area. That being said, Dr. Williams and Stewart do organize frequent day trips traveling to Frederick, Southern Maryland, Potomac/Poolesville, Lower Eastern Shore and Upper Eastern Shore areas for referral and lameness cases. The trucks are fully stocked with our diagnostic equipment, including: digital radiography, ultrasounds, Angel PRP processors, shockwave machines, videoendoscope, additional regenerative medications and supplies giving us the ability to bring our services to the client.
If your horse is not in our coverage area, or there is a need for more immediate evaluation, we do have two locations where clients can ship their horses for appointments:
Private Farm in Hunt Valley
This private farm is kind enough to share their facilities for referral cases. Belhaven gives us the ability to evaluate our patients on multiple surfaces- rain or shine with an indoor as well as large outdoor arena. Cases can be completed and treated within the quiet and clean barn which has a wash stall protected from outside elements and heat lamps for those winter days. The property also allows for easy trailer maneuvering with a wrap around driveway and straight forward directions off the highway.
Nor Mar Farm
A rehabilitation facility located in Freeland Maryland is another option for case evaluation. Our private diagnostic and treatment room at Nor Mar gives us a clean, quiet, temperature controlled room our clinic built due to the amount of cases we refer or ask from regional practices to manage through their rehabilitation. This room was not only designed to optimize imaging and sterility for procedures but to house our state of the art tower ultrasound- Supersonic Imagine.

Externship Opportunities
At this point in time our practice does not offer an internship; however, both Cooper & Magda are passionate about teaching future veterinarians and giving those interested in the field experience about the profession. If you are interested in spending time with our practice please send a cover letter in addition to your CV and availability to info@cooperwilliamsvmd.com. Due to high demand, limited space and desire to give optimum teaching opportunities we will give priority to current veterinary students and professionals.
